The project brief

We developed the Dementia Day to Day blog when it started off life on the IDEA dementia website. With hundreds of blog posts, it needed to have an easy to use filtering system so you can find posts by subject, type of author, or your favourite author.

The platform is fantastic. Easy to use, powerful and highly effective… a pleasure to use.

Our solution

When it needed to find a new home, we migrated it to the Institute of Mental Health website which uses a different platform, liaising with the parties to ensure a smooth transfer.

It was missing the filtering system and author profiles, so we migrated the site again to where it currently lives as part of the Trent Dementia website, again ensuring that no blog posts were lost.

The Dementia Day to Day blog is a joint initiative between the Institute of Mental Health and the University of Nottingham’s School of English, where a panel of authors with lived experience of, and interest in, dementia explore the subject of ageing and wellbeing.
