The website and blog is looking great. Great job!
Project AMiCC: sustainability project web design
The project brief
The project needed a basic online presence while it was starting up. In the background a full website needed to be developed, needing a sustainability project web design specialist, attractively showcasing the partners and keeping people up to date with the latest news about the project and its work.
Our solution
It was a pleasure to continue the long-standing relationship with the University of Nottingham’s Department of Architecture and Built Environment and their pioneering research. The existing logo gave us our vibrant colour scheme of orange and navy. Also, the Art Deco-style logo’s curves are complemented by the font. In addition, the attractively animated Project Aims section clearly guides the user to interact with it. We’re also proud of the Partners page’s stylish layout and ‘Read more’ elements to minimise clutter.
Project AMiCC is a research project based at the University of Nottingham’s Department of Architecture and Built Environment, and funded by Innovate UK. It seeks to demonstrate how wireless vehicle charging technology can unlock a range of the blockers to the market transitioning to electric vehicles and decarbonized cities.
Our specialist services
Sustainability project web design
- Initially a holding page was produced with basic details was launched as the project was in its early stages.
- We advise the project on its colour scheme, in line with website accessibility contrast guidelines for people with visual disabilities.
- The website’s aim was to get people to share about it on social media, so we developed a prominent sharing pop-up window, encouraging users to share about the project on platforms including ResearchGate.
