Project SCENe needed its own standalone website, so it could showcase its own branding and expand the content as the project develops. It was important to feature the project partners and be able to add Research findings and details of the project’s impact.
The design process was collaborative, creative, enjoyable and very effective. Pixelshrink’s work is characterised by high quality and excellent communication with the client. We were able to track the website performance and measure the success of our dissemination activities. This combination of effective design and metrics supported very well a successful delivery of the dissemination activities of the research project.
Community energy research project web design is a Pixelshrink speciality, and this was another rewarding collaboration with the University of Nottingham on a prestigious project that has won multiple awards. We designed the website with a professional look and feel inspired by the existing logo, and flexible enough to grow with the project’s outputs. It has even gone on to power a sister project, African SCENe, too.
Project SCENe aims to support a community-based system of energy production and distribution at the Trent Basin development, and is based at The University of Nottingham. It is funded by Innovate UK.
