Project Sensible: multi-lingual web design
The project brief
The existing website needed an upgrade, in that it wasn’t easy to navigate on a mobile phone and would benefit from a new look and feel.
The pan-European nature of the project needed highlighting, with some content in Portuguese and German for its project partners.
The project would also be generating live data from its clean energy projects, and wanted to show it on the website in an engaging and accessible way.
Our solution
We redesigned the website with a professional mobile-friendly look and feel inspired by the existing logo.
Pixelshrink has in-house language experts that can help with your multi-lingual web design project, and we got to work designing a flag-based language switcher, and the ability to click on a map to view the language content too.
We also added the ability to show live graphs and charts based on energy-saving data.
Project Sensible was a prestigious EU project which aimed to understand the economic benefits that energy storage can bring to households, communities, and commercial buildings, and The University of Nottingham was one of the partner organisations.
