The project brief

The project needed a website with clean, modern, and minimalistic design and the project’s branding. Research project websites can often be a difficult fit on a university’s main website due to the need for separate branding and flexible content. So a separate website for the project was the best approach, showcasing the work in an engaging and accessible way and spotlighting all of the partners involved.

Working with Pixelshrink to develop our research project website has been great. They have been very flexible with us on both the design of the site and also on our timelines getting them content. For the price we paid we feel like we got value for money.

Now our website is up and running we think it looks fantastic. It is attractive to a wide audience, not just academics and this was really important for us to make sure our research reaches as many people as possible.

Our solution

Pixelshrink was very happy to work again with the University of Strathclyde on the website for this cutting-edge AI in healthcare research project. We built the website in close collaboration with the project team and conforming to the project’s revitalised branding, and consulted with them on the best solutions for their domain names. It’s fully mobile-friendly and takes into account website accessibility for people with visual impairments. It can grow flexibly with the project as its outputs are produced.

The AICE Project is a digital health project using artificial intelligence (AI) and Camera Capsule Endoscopy (CCE), taking photos of the colon to diagnose cancers. The project is funded by Horizon Europe and UKRI.
